Wallonia | 50 schools selected for the ‘Cleaner Schools’ label

Following a call for applications to all schools in Wallonia, 50 schools were selected to participate in the “Cleaner School” label. These schools will receive personalised support and on-site guidance to help them achieve the label. By participating, schools commit to reducing waste at its source, sorting waste effectively, and preventing litter on and around school grounds. Launched by Be Wapp and Fost Plus, this initiative aims to improve cleanliness and waste sorting within school premises and surrounding areas. Out of 140 applications, these 50 schools were chosen based on factors like team motivation, geographical distribution, and quality of the submitted project proposal, ensuring representation across school networks and educational levels.
