Government of Navarra | EUR 9.5 million to boost sustainable tourism

The Government of Navarra will invest EUR 9.5 million to boost tourism competitiveness and sustainability. Culture, Sports, and Tourism Minister highlighted the sector’s strong performance in 2024 and promising outlook for 2025, emphasising public-private collaboration to enhance business competitiveness, employment, and sustainability. Nearly 40% of the funds will go directly to tourism businesses, with EUR 675,800 for investments in electric mobility, energy efficiency, and waste management in the professional sector linked to wine and gastronomy tourism. Moreover, The Camino de Santiago will receive EUR 2.5 million grant for sustainable mobility, rest areas, landscape conservation, efficient monument lighting, and circular economy measures in accommodations.
