OVAM | Contributing to the new initiative ‘Morocco Circular’
The Flemish Government has approved the ‘Circular Morocco’ project, a multi-year initiative supporting Morocco’s transition to a circular economy. OVAM, Circular Flanders, and VITO (Flemish Institute for Technological Research) will contribute their expertise in waste prevention, recycling, and broader circular economy strategies. The project will establish a Circular Economy Center to help young people—especially women—build sustainable careers in this sector. Running until 2028, the project offers a unique opportunity to foster sustainable economic development in Morocco. OVAM is looking now for a dedicated expert to support this initiative. The role involves close collaboration with partners in Morocco and Flanders to develop strategies, introduce policy tools, and support entrepreneurs in the circular economy.
