Metropole Rouen Normandie | Wood and Biosourced Materials Pact to support eco-construction

The Métropole Rouen Normandie has signed the Normandy Wood and Biosourced Materials Pact, reinforcing its commitment to integrating wood and biosourced materials into construction and renovation projects. This aligns with its goal of reducing the environmental impact of the building sector as part of the National Low Carbon Strategy. The pact sets ambitious targets, such as incorporating at least 36 kg/m² of wood and biosourced materials in new builds and 10 kg/m² in renovations, with 30% sourced from France. This agreement, running through 2028, reflects a collective effort to promote eco-friendly construction practices.
