City of Warsaw | Expansion of textile waste collection with mobile drop-off points

Starting in March 2025, Warsaw residents will be able to drop off used textiles at Mobile Selective Waste Collection Points. A new resolution aims to make textile disposal more accessible and environmentally friendly. Previously, textiles could only be disposed of at fixed collection points in a few locations across the city, but now mobile collection points will be available at 42 locations on select days. This expansion improves convenience and helps reduce landfill waste by ensuring proper processing of unusable textiles. Usable clothing, bedding, towels, and curtains can still be donated to charities, NGOs, or designated collection bins, including over 1 000 containers from the Polish Red Cross.
