ARC | Grant to local authorities for the selective collection of municipal waste

The Catalan Waste Agency (ARC) has launched a new grant program to support local entities in implementing efficient municipal waste separation systems. This funding, totaling EUR 9.5 million, is focused on encouraging projects in selective waste collection, including organic waste, home composting, used cooking oil collection, and textile waste collection. The program supports projects that promote a circular economy approach to enhance sustainable waste management and optimise natural resource conservation.
Eligible recipients of these grants include local governments (municipalities, regional councils and consortia) responsible for selective waste collection, as well as businesses, associations, nonprofits, schools and event organisers generating organic waste.
