OVAM | Circular thinking in the spotlight at the Henry van de Velde Awards 2025

The Henry van de Velde Awards 2025 were held for the 31st time, showcasing Belgium's leading design achievements. The awards recognise designers and companies that demonstrate the added value of design in their products, projects, or services. Over the years, environmental awareness has grown among designers, and this focus on sustainability is reflected in all the winning projects.

OVAM is one of the competition's partners and is responsible each year for granting the Ecodesign Award. ETAP Lighting won this category for its efforts to make the lighting industry more sustainable. By offering lighting as a service with a focus on maintenance, repair, and reuse, ETAP supports the circular economy and reduces environmental impact.
