The Counsellor of Industry and Ecological and Digital Transition of the Government of Navarra attended the launch of a new circular economy project at the Urbasa campsite. This initiative involves transforming used cooking oil into laundry detergent using biodegradable capsules and the ‘YENXA’ appliance from the Navarra startup ‘Almotech’.

The collaboration between the Navarra Campsites Association and Almotech aims to reduce environmental impact while enhancing customer awareness and loyalty at the campsites. The Counsellor emphasised that this project promotes waste reduction and environmental awareness through circular economy principles, showcasing successful synergies between different sectors for sustainable solutions. Navarra campsites aim to engage customers in environmental consciousness and minimise the impact of improperly disposed oil.
