In the first half of 2024, LIPOR’s Specialised Waste Management Support Service implemented solutions for 50 institutions, impacting 29 934 people. Key actions included installing over 6 930 recycling bins, conducting 102 awareness campaigns, and providing over 180 hours of training. LIPOR also offered consultancy for major events like ComicCon and TEDxPorto, resulting in approximately 32 tonnes of materials recycled and a reduction of 24 722 kg of CO2 emissions. In addition to new implementations, LIPOR maintained ongoing support with around 50 monitoring sessions and 68 hours of effective work with entities already practicing good waste management. LIPOR’s service aims to provide accessible, effective, and sustainable waste management solutions.
