The draft of the Scottish Circular Economy and Waste Route Map is currently open for consultation until 15 March 2024. Zero Waste Scotland, along with the Scottish Government and the Scottish Environment Protection Agency, recently organised a webinar aimed at encouraging stakeholders to familiarise themselves with the proposed Route Map and to contribute their perspectives through participation in the consultation process. During the webinar session, key speakers engaged in discussions covering various aspects of the Route Map's development, particularly focusing on its four strategic aims: Reduce and Reuse, Modernise Recycling, Decarbonise Disposal, and Strengthen the Circular Economy. If you want to know more about the discussions, the full recording of the session is available for viewing.
