Aalborg 80px

The underground containers in ACR+ member Aalborg and Nørresundby now have new, larger and improved inlets for plastic, metal and cardboard food and beverage packaging. Aalborg Renovation, utility owned by the Municipality of Aalborg, has listened to the feedback they have received from the residents and the waste collectors who empty the buried containers. A lot of the reports gathered are about blocked containers. This is rarely because the containers are full, but because plastic waste in particular gets stuck in the liner. Thus, measures have been taken to enlarge the inlets of the underground containers, making it easier to dispose of this waste.
