Zero Waste Scotland 190px

On 3-4 October 2018, ACR+ member Zero Waste Scotland together with partners CIWM and SEPA will host the Scottish Resources Conference. The two-day event is Scotland’s largest and most important event for sustainability, resource and waste management professionals. Professionals from private, public and third sector organisations come together to discuss the challenges, issues, innovations and solutions to creating a waste free Scotland.

This year’s conference focuses on the range of people, practices and policies which are fundamentally changing the ways we manage our resources. The plastics plight of Scotland’s oceans, the incoming ban on biodegradable waste to landfill, preventing food and construction waste, and Scotland’s planned deposit return scheme, will all be examined at this year’s Scottish Resources Conference. The conference will culminate in the Scottish Resource Awards, a celebration of circular economy success – which this year will feature new categories including the Young Person Award.
