LIPOR | Launch of Qualimatters project to boost waste quality and recycling efficiency

To support its goal of improving the quality of waste collected for recycling, LIPOR and its associated municipalities launched the Qualimatters project. In line with the Municipal Action Plans for Urban Waste, Qualimatters primarily aims to reduce non-conformities in waste deliveries by 20%, enhancing the quality of recycled materials. The project operates on two main fronts: first, raising awareness and providing training for all parties involved; and second, enhancing technical and operational procedures through new technologies to improve waste processing.
