Government of Navarra | Three circular economy projects declared of regional interest

The Government of Navarra has declared three business projects to be of regional interest: a battery recycling plant in Caparroso, a plastic recycling plant in Los Arcos, and a biogas and biofertilizer generation project in Sesma. These initiatives represent a total investment of EUR 65.2 million in new market niches related to ecological transformation and are expected to create 240 direct and indirect jobs in the respective locations and their surroundings. The Minister of Industry and Ecological and Digital Business Transition has noted that these projects align with the government's goals of promoting circular economy initiatives and making Navarra a model region in ecological transition, as outlined in the Navarra S4 Smart Specialization Strategy.
