ALDA and the Council of European Municipalities and Regions invite you to the public conference “Managing the Future for Environmental Resilience” on 9 October in Brussels. The conference offers an interactive platform to discuss overcoming short-termism in local climate management and planning for resilient, participatory environmental governance. It will introduce the new EU-funded FOSTER project.
What's on the agenda? The morning includes a keynote from the European Environment Agency and a panel on local policies for a sustainable future. The afternoon features expert talks on strategic foresight and key elements for future-focused climate policies, such as decentralized cooperation and participatory policymaking.
