Europe’s largest annual conference on environmental policy, the EU Green Week, is currently looking for partners across Europe to organise related events between 13-17 May. The week-long conference will be comprised of initiatives taking place both in Brussels and in different EU member states. The common theme of these events will be environmental policies, their impacts and their outlook.
Partner events can be organised by stakeholders from the public and private sectors or the civil society and could focus on topics like capacity building or the need to embed sustainability into other policy areas, such as agriculture. The deadline for registrations is 15 March and those interested can fill in an online form.
ACR+ itself will participate in the EU Green Week, under the umbrella of which we will organise the European Week for Waste Reduction (EWWR) Awards Ceremony in Brussels on 15 May. Aimed at celebrating the most outstanding waste reduction actions organised by the participants in EWWR 2018 throughout Europe, the event will bring together policymakers, waste professionals and activists fighting to reduce and prevent waste.
