In the framework of the LIFE EWAS project ACR+ member, ENT Foundation and Wellness Telecom (project coordinator) presented the methodology developed during the project to optimise waste collection using a combination of various information and technologies, such as sensors that detect the degree of filling of the containers. After that an open debate took place to discuss how these technologies can not only improve the efficiency of the collection, but also the interaction between waste management and the users of the service.

The presentation and debate were organised by ACR+ member, Agència de Residus de Catalunya (ARC) and LIFE+ EWAS.
