Highlights
The FOLOU project kicked-off on 1 January 2023! All partners are excited to bring useful tools and knowledge to the table. In collaboration with PROMAN, DACC, MIO-ESCADE and the Government of Catalunya, ACR+ will soon start the assessment of regional and national policies addressing measurement, monitoring and reduction of Food Losses (FL) at Primary Production level. In the coming months, ACR+ will also start the identification process of European regions where the need, or the interest, to address FL measuring and monitoring is high on the political agenda. While we get started, if you are a regional or national authority currently developing legislation on Food Losses, do not hesitate to get in touch with us! We will keep you in the loop of the policy and technical developments the FOLOU project is working on to set the base for a European repository system of national FL data.
