In the 1st half of 2023, ACR+ member LIPOR received from its eight associated municipalities around 32 714 tonnes of materials delivered for recycling of paper/cardboard, plastic and glass, coming from Door-to-Door Selective Collection, Proximity Collection with restricted access, eco-bins and drop-off sites, which means a growth of 4% compared to the same period of 2022. Moreover, LIPOR received 24 662 tonnes from the selective collection of biowaste, and as a result of the expansion of door-to-door collection and proximity projects for food waste and green waste flows, which represents an increase of 8% compared to 2022. In addition, the production of waste by citizens decreased by 1% compared to the same period in 2022.
