Between 15 and 21 May, ACR+ member AMIU was involved in a series of initiatives and events focused on circular economy, waste collection, recovery, and reuse practices. During the campaign, litter collection took place on the beaches by pupils from several schools in Genoa. Moreover, AMIU held environmental education courses about different topics, going from separate waste collection to composting. AMIU set up an information space dedicated to environmental education, providing materials on separate waste collection and guidance on proper waste disposal. The week concluded with the first Plogging competition, where participants collected waste while jogging.
