The Regional Minister for Economic Development, Sustainability and the Environment and the Mayor of Bilbao have presented the Basque Circular Hub, the first centre for advanced circular economy services in Southern Europe. This new expert centre, which will be managed by the public company Ihobe, is the result of a public-private partnership including the Basque Government, Bilbao City Council and ACR+ member University of Deusto.

Among other objectives, by 2024 it is expected that 1500 companies will be using the services of this centre; a hundred teachers and 1200 professionals will have received specialised training in the circular economy, and 20 sectoral monitoring reports will have been produced.
