ACR+ member Zero Waste Scotland is a launching a campaign to help Scots with practical ideas and tips on small changes to cut our carbon footprint linked to waste, calling on everyone to retain the joy in what for many will be a different festive period. The organisation has come up with the following ‘Christmas firsts’ as examples of actions that keep the joy of Christmas without a hefty carbon footprint: ask for a second-hand gift, give a gift that keeps on giving, make your own wrapping paper and have a ‘Christmas dinner conference’.
