ACR+ member AMB approved the tender for the drafting of the construction project of a Biofertilizer and Fertilizer Production Center. This new metropolitan waste treatment plant will start from the reconversion of the current waste transfer plant located in Viladecans, to transform it into a facility dedicated to recovering the nutrients present in the organic waste fraction, in the form of useful resources (fertilizers, fertilizers and water) for agriculture. The facility will have the capacity to treat 90,000 tonnes of organic waste annually.
