The CCRI-CSO initiative aiming at accelerating the transition to a circular economy in European cities and regions held its first thematic working group meeting this week. The interest areas of the Pilot and Fellow cities of the CCRI-CSO were grouped into 4 categories (industrial symbiosis, bioeconomy, circular construction and circular resource management) which will be the focus areas of the work in the coming years. These thematic working groups will allow their members to exchange practices and experiences. ACR+ is leading the Circular Resource Management thematic group, which gather cities and regions as well as diverse stakeholders such as OECD, EIB and several Horizon Projects all working on relevant topics. ACR+ is excited to lead this group, which will be an important forum of exchange on topics like circular public procurement, reuse-repair initiatives and better management of material flows.
