Reloop | Global recycling league table: 8 European countries in the top 10

Eunomia Research and Consulting, along with partners including Reloop, has published the Global Recycling League Table, assessing the recycling performance of 48 countries. The report highlights Austria as the top recycler, with Wales in second place. Europe dominates the top 10, reflecting effective long-term recycling strategies, while Taiwan and South Korea also excel due to established systems. The study reveals that no country surpasses a 60% municipal waste recycling rate, indicating the need for sustained investment and cultural shifts. Notably, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, and Germany saw significant drops in their reported recycling rates.
