LIPOR has been awarded the National Innovation Prize in the Business Segment category, Public Sector subcategory, for its WAYSTE Waste Management Platform. Developed internally by LIPOR, the WAYSTE Platform integrates a constantly growing flow of information, supporting LIPOR's waste management monitoring model in its partner municipalities.  

  

The development of WAYSTE began in 2018 with the goal of consolidating all relevant waste management system data, including collections and valorisation, into a single platform. Currently, this platform manages over 97 000 daily records, enhancing the monitoring and management of Collection projects in LIPOR's associated municipalities. With a strong statistical analysis component, WAYSTE allows users to track the progress of their projects and the achievement of goals set in their Strategic Plan. It also enables the analysis of circuit efficiency, customer participation rates, and the performance of public and restricted access equipment.
