mancomunidad de pamplona 80px

Since the joint patrols of Municipal Police and Greater Pamplona´s waste inspectors began in early May, illegal dumping in the region has decreased by an average of 30%. Greater Pamplona reported a notable decline in illegal dumping across the area after the first month of these patrols aimed at enforcing waste regulations. In Pamplona city alone, there were four consecutive weeks of illegal dumping reduction by an average of 30%. During this period, 22 infractions were documented, and sanctions will be imposed in the coming weeks. Both entities reaffirmed their commitment to the joint patrol system, which integrates inspection and sanction capabilities to deter and address illegal dumping practices through preventive measures and public awareness, focusing on community wellbeing rather than solely punitive measures or revenue-driven actions.
