Metrop Region Amsterdam small

In order to build new housing in a sustainable and future-proof manner, ACR+ member Amsterdam Metropolitan Area (MRA) and the province of Utrecht have drawn up an agreement on future-proof housing. It contains ambitious agreements, stricter than current legal standards, so that housing can be built more sustainably. The pact follows the signal from municipalities and market parties that there is a great need for agreements in the field of sustainable housing. For example, on circularity, building inclusive of nature, climate adaptation and energy use. The pact has already been signed by dozens of municipalities, three provinces and more than thirty development and construction companies.
