The Interreg NWE - FCRBE programme (Facilitating the Circulation of Reclaimed Building Elements), in which ACR+ member Brussels Environment is a partner, is opening a new area of work as part of the capitalisation extension (2022-23): the development of a calculation method for reuse in construction. In addition to improving the visibility of the reuse sector in construction, the FCRBE partners are working on the development of methods and tools to recover (before demolition) materials with reuse potential and to integrate them into construction projects. Drawing on many pioneering examples, a handbook has been published to set out concrete ways to take reuse into account at every stage of a project, from the initial formulation of ambitions to site monitoring.Source: https://environnement.brussels (in French)
