AMIU Genova 80pxIn the ancient seaside village of Boccadasse, ACR+ member AMIU has identified the need to discourage bad behaviour, such as the abandonment of waste in the streets. To this end, an agreement has been signed between AMIU and the "Ambiente ed Energia al Quadrato" Association to promote separate waste collection and the cleaning of the village in the framework of the "Boccadasse clean and separate" project.

Until September, volunteers from the Association will supervise and run activities on waste reduction and waste separation as well as deliver information leaflets. They will also distribute small ashtrays for cigarette butts to prevent them from ending up in the sea and will carry out small manual cleaning operations in the public area of the village.
