Explore the Waste and Material Flows' Activity Report 2024

2024 has been dense of activities at ACR+ and the Thematic Area on Waste & Material Flows did not stay behind, helping advance waste monitoring, fostering member collaboration, and disseminating best practices, particularly in biowaste management.

The thematic area leveraged various EU-funded projects to host study visits in cities like Lyon, Florence, and Bergen, which encouraged peer exchanges on waste collection and management. Key events such as the HOOP Cities and Policy Conference provided a platform to address policy drivers and regulatory barriers, underscoring ACR+’s commitment to promoting a sustainable bioeconomy.
