Barcelona Municipality and Fundació Formació i Treball | Over 26 tonnes of materials donated to local social organisations

Over 26 tonnes of material from the Mobile World Congress 2025 have been recovered for social organisations through the Donation Room initiative, which promotes social return and a circular economy by minimising the environmental impact of the event. Active since 2016, the programme is made possible through collaboration between the City Councils of Barcelona and L’Hospitalet, Fundació Formació i Treball, and other partners. This year, 2 742 items valued at over EUR 73 000 will benefit 23 local organisations, with Fundació Formació i Treball in charge of collection and distribution.
