On 4-5 July, the FOLOU project convened in Ghent, Belgium, for its third consortium Meeting. Celebrating the project's first 18 months. The meeting was held at the University of Ghent, a key partner coordinating the field-testing activities aimed at estimating potential yield losses and food losses in primary production across the five largest crop categories in Europe. During the meeting, partners reviewed the project's progress in developing the Food Loss Registry, refining crop-specific methodologies for measuring food losses, and creating learning materials for the wider public.

The meeting also provided an opportunity to discuss the upcoming launch of the FOLOU Twinning Regions Program, managed by ACR+. This initiative will invite new regions and actors across Europe to collaborate with the project and pioneer food loss measurement in their territories.
