On 4 and 5 June, more than 100 cities, regions, European organisations, investors, and private companies gathered in Brussels for the HOOP Cities and Policy Conference. The event, organised with the support of the Committee of the Regions and the Murcia Region, provided an opportunity to foster dialogue, share insights, and explore innovative approaches to implementing circular bioeconomy solutions. Policymakers, industry leaders, and stakeholders engaged in dynamic and participative sessions to discuss the most pressing regulatory, economic, and policy challenges facing the transition to local circular bioeconomy systems.

Additionally, the Conference were an excellent opportunity for over 25 members of the HOOP Network of Cities and Regions to meet and exchange approaches and solutions on local bioeconomy policies. If you missed it, stay tuned to the conference page for event highlights and key takeaways.
