ACR v2 r02Following the publication of individual assessments, a cross analysis of the results of the second cohort of the More Circularity, Less Carbon campaign, led by ACR+ with the support of ACR+ member Zero Waste Scotland and its Carbon Metric International, is now available, together with its executive summary. The analysis of the waste data collected by the city of Odense in Denmark, the region of Navarra in Spain, and Ireland, provides valuable insight on the composition of waste carbon impacts and how to reduce the carbon footprint of municipal waste by 25% by 2025. For example, it shows that despite local differences in #waste generation & treatment, Odense, Navarra and Ireland share the same carbon-intensive fractions: textile, food, and plastic.
