ACR+ provided feedback to the European Commission public consultation on the Sustainable Food Systems initiative, focusing on identifying the key elements for ensuring wide adoption of sustainable practices from production to consumption in the food value chain. As part of its work on the subject, ACR+ is currently setting up some activities that will later be proposed to members interested in improving the sustainability of their food systems at local and regional level. Activities will also include participation in the two new awarded projects PREPSOIL (Soil Health in Europe) and FOLOU (Food Losses Measurement and Reduction) on which ACR+ is a key partner.
