As part of the preparation phase of a European Network of Businesses and SMEs for industrial symbiosis (IS) the Cir©Lean project launched a consultation until the end of March to gather feedback on the creation of such network and the activities to be implemented under it. The ambition is based on two main objectives:

• the creation of a European network of relevant players involved in IS and endorsing the voluntary IS reporting approach;
• the development jointly with the network members of a common voluntary approach on the reporting of industrial symbiosis exchanges and impacts.

The project – gathering Technopolis, Trinomics, International Synergies, Arctik, EIT Raw materials, SPIRE and ACR+ – will support EU industry in realising its industrial symbiosis potential, in particular via an online tool with the aim of facilitating industrial symbiosis for economic operators, as well as several networking and match making activities.
