During the final conference of FISSAC organised by ACR+, over 60 participants took part in interactive sessions thanks, notably to the active involvement of ACR+ members ARC and OVAM. One of the highlights of the day was the launch of the FISSAC ICT Platform. but also other deliverables like the project’s Living Labs. In small groups, participants elaborated recommendations and messages to foster the industrial symbiosis in all the industrial value chains around Europe. The opportunity to set a target to decrease the use of virgin resources as a way to trigger the circular economy and industrial symbiosis processes was also extensively discussed. In addition, several H2020 projects were presented during the event, including RE4 and URBANREC.
