On 17 January 2019, ACR+ team joined the HARMONI summit, in Brussels, taking actively part in the workshop entitled "waste management – regulatory challenges for intensive industries and standardisation potential".
 
The focus was on non-technological barriers to innovation in the process industry. The workshop involved various projects related to sectors covered by the SPIRE PPP: RESLAG, SCALER, MAESTRI, and FISSAC. It also included stakeholders from the industry, academia, European Commission and national organisations. It was a great opportunity to sharing challenges and solutions in an inspiring and interactive way.
