In 2019, ACR+ member OVAM launched the municipal benchmark tool in cooperation with Interafval and the Association of Flemish Cities and Municipalities. Policy officers or makers of local governments can get started with the tool to evaluate their municipality's waste, materials and soil policies. The tool shows data on 61 indicators, now also for the year 2021. Including historical data from 2015, the benchmark tool already gives an overview of seven years. A number of new indicators were added since last year, including on asbestos removal and litter management.
