ACR+ member Fundació Formació i Treball recovered 24% more used clothing than the previous year. In particular, the Sant Esteve Sesrovires textile recovery plant has received more than 3,300 tonnes of clothes during the first half of 2021, while in the first half of 2020 the volume was 2,700 tonnes. 63% of the textile collected is prepared for reuse in Spain and other countries; 33% is prepared for recycling into new fibres and yarns; and 4% for electrical and heat cogeneration.
