ACR+ started its work on the Horizon Europe project DECISO Developers of Circular Solutions. The project will support cities and regions to develop financing schemes for their circular economy initiatives. It will pilot projects in 4 regions in Germany, Portugal and Greece. One of the first key project activities of ACR+ is to organise the following participatory workshop in Brussel:  

 

DECISO and HOOP European projects are organising a full-day joint event on 10 May 2023 on financing local circular economy initiatives. The event will feature keynote speeches and opportunities for matchmaking between investors and project developers. The event is organised for a diverse public going from public authorities, private investors, to innovative solution providers who want to learn about funding opportunities for circular economy initiatives and engage private investors to bridge the funding gap. The event aims to address questions such as how public procurement can attract innovative solutions and how to pitch projects to potential investors.  

 

Cities and Regions interested in the event are encouraged to join the HOOP Network (here you can find how to join the network) and get financial support to cover all the travel costs.
