Since September 2022, ACR+ is a partner in the FER-PLAY project that aims at gathering and disseminating information on efficient and replicable alternative fertilisers. What is an alternative fertiliser? It is a fertiliser derived from secondary raw material such as biowaste.  Using alternative fertilisers protects ecosystems, decreases EU dependence on fertiliser imports and improves resource efficiency. 

ACR+ is currently looking for 5 to 10 cities and regions to join a working group to share their experience on working with alternative fertiliser. Do you produce or support the production and use of alternative fertilisers in your territory? Do you want to share your experience and challenges and help the FER-PLAY partners develop policy briefs to further promote and mainstream the use of alternative fertilisers? We will get together online during the second semester of 2023 (date to be announced).
