WasterServ Malta

Wasteserv Malta was established in November 2002. It is the operator of lastresort for the Maltese Islands and is responsible for organising, managing and operating integrated systems for waste management. These include the minimisation, transportation, treatment, sorting, reuse, utilisation, recycling, treatment and disposal of solid and hazardous waste. It also coordinates the exportation of waste. Its purpose is to maximise the extraction of good quality recyclable materials while also generating renewable energy as part of its sustainable contribution for the Maltese Islands. This is evidenced by the company’s motto, the driver behind all of its undertakings: “creating resources from waste”.
