Rezero | The second edition of the Zero Waste Festival

The second edition of the Zero Waste Festival, organised by Rezero together with Zero Waste Europe, brought together European Commission and United Nations representatives, along with experts from across Europe, to discuss waste prevention and strategies for a zero-waste society. Held on 26-27 March in Barcelona, the event featured conferences, roundtables, and immersive activities. It also marked the launch of Rezero’s 20th-anniversary celebrations and the Rezero Catalunya Awards, recognising outstanding zero-waste initiatives. 

This year’s festival focused on key issues such as the fast fashion crisis, exploring policies for a more responsible textile industry, the implementation of deposit-return systems for packaging in Spain, and eliminating toxic substances from everyday products, particularly menstrual products.
