EM Normandy | New partnership to study reuse of inert materials in the construction sector

The European Chair of Excellence on Circular Economy and Territories of EM Normandy just entered into a partnership with Ecominéro, the French eco-organism in charge of  the EPR Scheme on product and materials of the construction building sector. The partnership, aiming to improve the re-use of inert materials in the construction sector, includes an in-depth study to remove the obstacles that limit the spread of reuse. 

For this study, the Chair of Excellence will analyse the inert materials value chain, identifying the key players and the technical, economic and organisational obstacles to reuse. It will also seek to identify practical ways of increasing the scale of this practice and strengthening local synergies. 

This study is fully in line with the Chair's mission of promoting circularity and territories in the circular transition, through studies, training and advocacy actions.
