ACR+ is pleased to welcome Humana Fundación Pueblo para Pueblo as a new member.

Humana Fundación Pueblo para Pueblo is a Non-Governmental Development Organization (NGO) that since 1987 promotes environmental protection and has carried out cooperation projects in various countries in sub-Saharan Africa, South America, and Asia as well as social projects in Spain. The projects' common goals are to promote training, education, and the development of the beneficiary communities in various fields, like agriculture and rural development, diseases and education.

Through proper used textile collection and sorting we make a positive impact on the environment, with emphasis on reuse and recycling processes, being able then to support our cooperation and social projects.

Why have you joined ACR+?

We believe that to achieve better results in our efforts to positively change our relationship with the environment and between ourselves, networking is a much needed tool. ACR+ is a strong network of municipalities and regions that wishes to promote good practices in waste reduction and management for instance. Whilst collecting and managing annually around 18.000 thousand tons of used clothes in Spain, Humana can provide knowledge and also receive learning from the network.
