The "Positive Devices" project, initiated by the Government of Catalonia through the Catalan Waste Agency (ARC) and the Secretariat of Digital Policies, was launched in 2018. It aims to raise awareness about the collection, repair, and reuse of electronic devices. A recent event on 20 June targeted public administration to emphasise the need for changes in electronic equipment management and procurement. The event showcased real examples of best practices within public administration and entities. These practices focus on procurement and end-of-life equipment management, promoting positive changes. An exhibition was also launched to support awareness activities in public buildings, encouraging mobile device repair, reuse and recycling to extend their lifespan and reduce environmental impact.
