Energy cities is undertaking a journey towards climate neutrality with the EU-funded project EUCityCalc. The project aims to assist cities in developing and implementing scientifically robust integrated transition pathways to decarbonise energy-consuming sectors. 

 

Utilising the EU City Calculator, cities have access to a user-friendly web interface to explore and model low-carbon scenarios. This tool aids in making informed decisions and visualising the impact of policy choices on climate and energy strategies. A free learning program is available to help cities maximise the potential of the web tool. The courses cover mastering the EU City Calculator, organising and conducting multi-stakeholder dialogues, and understanding the importance for local authorities to engage in the national policy process. Participants will be equipped to use the EU City Calculator to develop locally owned transition roadmaps.
