Manlleu City Council has presented the results of the implementation of door-to-door collection in the town. ACR+ member the Catalan Waste Agency (ARC) supports this project with the call for pilot projects for Public Procurement of Innovation with a total budget of EUR 1.2 million. In the three months since the implementation of door-to-door collection in Manlleu the selective collection rate has reached 82.5% and the production of municipal waste has been reduced by 16.8%, from 1 002.35 g/waste/day with containers to 789.33 g/waste/day with door-to-door.
